Hello, I’ve not only got a new Model and Me post for you but it’s also featuring a label that I’ve not featured before – harrie and sam – an ethically designed and made in New Zealand label that I think you’re going to love. And yes, they now ship to Australia*.
It’s a label that works a little differently too. Each fortnight, a pre-sale opens on Saturday (next one is this Saturday, September 12), and once the allocation is sold out, they get busy making your garments. Minimal waste! You can read more about how they work HERE.
The fabric harrie and sam uses is a floaty chiffon – and it’s available in a number of colours. It’s sheer and designed for you to layer over the top of a cami or slip.
Scroll on for a look at the style I fell in love with.

This is not the first time that I’ve fallen hard for something in rust. For me, it’s a stunning colour that works back perfectly with all my neutrals. I’ve popped a black slip under this and you can see that it’s not super see-through and gives only a hint of the shape underneath.
I wasn’t sure how this shape would work on my shape but it actually works a treat. The inverted shape of the skirt creates shape around my waist, while skimming over the hips. The three-quarter sleeves make for an elegant finish, perfect for these trans-seasonal months.
*Delivery is $25 and can take up to three weeks.
This dress was gifted to me for editorial consideration.
