Have you ever purchased some pretty panties online, only to receive them and have them not fit just right? It’s such a bummer! I know I have a drawer of forgotten (ill-fitting) panties taking up space for this very reason.
Well, inclusive intimates subscription brand Panty Drop offers a possible solution, that they say is it’s “best-fitting and most-inclusive style, The Perfect Panty,” which comes in sizes XS to 6X (a size 34). Priced at 13.50 each or three for $35.
And since life now, is all about the comfortable side of things, this launch is perfectly timed!
Intimates Subscription Service, Panty Drop, Launches ‘The Perfect Panty’ Today!
Super cute, right??
We love the bold band colors! You might be asking yourself, what makes this particular style so different? Well, I’m glad you asked…
“As a former engineer and product leader, I realized the lack of inclusivity in fashion and I grew frustrated with the problem that was clearly a result of poor data and design,” – Panty Drop Founder and CEO Julie Arsenault.
Traditionally, when brands extend their sizing from exclusively straight sizing, the plus sizes are made by the brands just grading measurements up from their existing smaller sizes.
This method doesn’t consider the plus size community’s incredibly diverse proportions, with certain brands only using one or two fit models to help develop their extended sizing.
The Perfect Panty was designed in collaboration with Deborah Christel, Ph.D., who has spent over a decade researching how to adapt apparel design for different sizes and body types. She is also the founder and CEO of Kade & Vos, a size-inclusive ethical apparel line.
“You need data to be able to optimize and personalize a relevant online shopping experience, while the perfect design comes from actually listening to your customers’ unique needs and feedback.
‘Inclusive’ brands are still falling short, and The Perfect Panty collection supports those who have felt excluded, shamed or discriminated against as a result.” – Panty Drop Founder and CEO Julie Arsenault
The Perfect Panty promises to provide optimized front coverage, full back coverage, a stay-up waistband, and wider leg openings for larger sizes. Could this mean no more panties rolling under the belly? *fingers crossed*
Ready to get your hands on some, but unsure how Panty Drop works?
Panty Drop is a subscription service, but also offers a one-time buying option if you’re unsure if you wanna commit to a long term relationship with them. So, YES, you can sign up for the service and NO you do NOT have to, if you want to JUST buy a few pairs.
After a short style quiz, you get matched with your perfect size, shape, and style preferences. In addition to the Perfect Panty line, they also carry brands such as Cosabella, Hanky Panky, and Free People.
I can’t wait to get my booty into these!
