We are into our 3rd week of our newest FB Live Series, Speaking of Curves! This project is all about showing support and love to various plus size businesses, especially now. We have already introduced you to Secondhand Curves, Honey’s Child Boutique, Christian Omeshun, Haute & Co Bridal, and Trendy Curvy with Ready to Stare! And today, we bring you the designer behind the plus size brand, Z by Zevarra!
This Los Angeles contemporary plus size brand has made its own lane in the bold, unapologetic, sassy, and sexy options for the plus size person with a discerning eye.
You see, for Z by Zevarra, it is all about the details. This brand knows how to give us a dress. Power mesh fabrics, so no shapewear is needed. 2-day delivery plans, so we can get the instant gratification. Made in LA, to have better quality control.
Rather than tell it all, catch our interview with Lakisha, the designer behind the plus size brand, Z by Zevarra!
Speaking of Curves with Plus Size Brand Z by Zevarra
Talk about inspirational. To take one step forward and build the vision? I am so geeked to watch this journey, as it has been such a special one to me.
Can you imagine how an idea about a line could then turn into 3 brands? With the lux line, the Home line, and now, the Basics?
Honestly, I cannot wait for that range, too… I am all about having the right foundations for your wardrobe. For those who are curious, her collection goes from a size 10 through a size 28!
Also, if you did not catch it, Z by Zevarra will be changing to Zevarra!
Are you intrigued?! We will continue this series as there are quite a few businesses and brands that we can support!
Make sure you also follow them, on IG at @zbyzevarra!
In the plus size fashion space, indie business owners are the backbone of our community. These brands, designers, and businesses challenge status quo and push the envelope. Right?
It is even MORE important to support those small and indie businesses, to make sure that they make it through this! We are all feeling the shift and many of these indie plus size businesses are pivoting to stay afloat.
You can catch Speaking of Curves LIVE on our FB page, Tuesdays and Thursdays, at 12pm EST.
