Selena Gomez is kicking off her big week of press for The Dead Don’t Die with its red carpet premiere this evening in Manhattan. The singer arrived at the screening dressed impeccably in a black feathered mini dress. She wore her hair in a messy up-do. Gomez’s makeup artist Hung Vanngo teased the look before Gomez arrived at the event.
Gomez’s appearance tonight comes after she was photographed getting lunch at Nobu earlier today. She was wearing a black striped top then with a black blazer and cuffed blue jeans.
Gomez spent her weekend in Kansas City for the Big Slick, an annual celebrity fundraising event where Gomez played softball, bowled, and met with Children’s Mercy Hospital’s child patients and their families. Gomez is scheduled to appear on Jimmy Fallon’s Tonight Show tomorrow night and Live With Kelly and Ryan on Wednesday morning.
Gomez shot The Dead Don’t Die last summer in an upstate New York town. She shared some photos from set last August, along with some pictures of her at a diner in the area. “Randoms and film,” she captioned the gallery.
Gomez has already been to one The Dead Don’t Die premiere: its worldwide Cannes Film Festival debut last month. It was Gomez’s first time at the festival. The film was shown during Cannes’ opening night, and Gomez dressed up in two white Louis Vuitton outfits for both the screening and the after party.
This is one of Gomez’s biggest weeks in the public this entire year. She has spent most of her year relatively out of the spotlight. Her first red carpet event was in April, when she wore a Dior dress to We Day California.
