The wait is officially over — Canadian intimates brand Knix is collaborating with Sarah Landry of The Birds Papaya on a second highly coveted Papaya Box. The box, which will be launching on June 23 at 12 p.m. EST, is a limited-edition bundle of wardrobe-essentials.
What exactly is included in the second edition of The Papaya Box, you ask? Rest assured the collection is packed with stylish Knix goodies, curated by Landry herself. First, the Papaya Bodysuit: a shiny leather-looking bodysuit with a thong-style bottom to avoid panty lines (available in sizes S-XXXL+). Second, The Papaya Oversized Shirt, a versatile chiffon blouse that can be buttoned up, tied or tucked in (available in sizes S-XXXL). Last but certainly not least, there’s the Lesley Hampton Scarf, designed with an exclusive print by Anishinaabe artist, fashion designer and 2021 CAFA winner Lesley Hampton. The box retails for $150 and can be purchased on Knix’s website.
The collaborators behind The Papaya Box have a history of working well together. In 2017, Knix founder and CEO Joanna Griffiths reached out to Landry, asking her to be in a Knix campaign that later went viral. Their relationship grew from there, and Landry began to work as a consultant for Knix while she built The Birds Papaya. Launched in October 2020, the first Papaya Box sold out in just 27 minutes, making it the fastest-selling product in Knix history. Back by popular demand, the second version of the collab is launching on June 23 at 12 p.m. EST. It’s sure to move quickly, so get your plastic ready!
