Yacht Club games has made it quite clear that it’s not done with Shovel Knight. In fact, at the start of this month, Shovel Knight: Treasure Trove artist Sandy Gordon explained how the developer would continue to make games about the popular indie hero forever and ever.
Even though Treasure Trove is now complete, there’s still the spin-off Shovel Knight Dig and the more recently announced puzzler Shovel Knight Pocket Dungeon to anticipate. What about a more direct Shovel Knight sequel, though? Speaking to DualShockers at this year’s PAX East, Gordon said Yacht Club was “absolutely” considering a sequel.
sure that’ll happen at some point: it’s something we talk about a lot
During the most recent Yacht Club presentation, the director of Shovel Knight Sean Velasco revealed the team had begun internal development on two new projects – teasing a brand new IP that was sure to interest Shovel Knight fans.
